    Interesting to learn how both of you landed in PR. Aligns with what I often tell students….. that many of their supervisors will likely have “fallen into” PR, rather than being formally trained in it. A second thing that strikes me: I began teaching PR students in 1986 (a century ago). Program applicants told me then they had no idea what the field was or that you could study it. All many knew is that they liked to write and didn’t want to be a newspaper journalist. I still hear similiar comments from applicants in 2007.
