Comments

  1. Okay, I know it’s not a profound body of work to choose from, but of all the examples of Corbin Bersen’s roles, what possessed you to cite Major League? What was that you were saying about keeping in touch with contemporary culture…

  2. Major League was the finest moment in his career. I defy you to find a role that carried more nuance, gravitas, arc as his portrayal of Roger Dorn in Major League.

  3. Ah, but there are so many.

How about his brilliant Fog Benson in Gentle Ben 2: Danger on the Mountain. Or, there’s his compelling portrayal of the guy who gets offed by possessed, murderous dolls out for revenge in Tales from the Hood.

I still don’t know why he was denied the Oscar for that last one.
